The Australian Cattle Dog iwas bred to drive cattle over rough terrain. They are either red or blue. Other names for this breed include, Queensland Heeler, and "Blue" or "Red" Heeler. This breed is usually around 17 to 20 inches tall at the withers and 45 to 60 pounds. This is an active breed that requires daily exercise and training. This versatile breed will eagerly learn tricks, a job, or to compete in dog sports, such as agility.
