Pumpkin Dog Cookies


Most dogs love pumpkin. Canned pumpkin can be mixed with dry dog food to help with weight loss. Pumpkin is nutritious, delicious, and low in calories. Most people find this recipe a little bland, but dogs enjoy these cookies.





Pumpkin Dog Cookie Recipe


1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup soft butter
1/2 cup fresh or canned pumpkin
1 egg
1/2 cup organic milk

Mix flour with butter and honey. Mix egg with milk then stir into flour mix. Add pumpkin. Mix together until dough is soft.

Use a teaspoon to drop cookies onto cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool and Serve.

Border Terrier


The Border Terrier was originally bred in Great Britain to go after vermin that steal sheep. These dogs are about 10 inches at the shoulder and weigh 10 to 15 pounds. The Border Terrier is alert, confident, and makes an excellent watch dog. This breed does well in Obedience and Agility Trials.

Spitz Dogs


Several breeds are considered Spitz dogs. Some Spitz breeds are: Akita, Shiba Inu, Chow Chow, Huskies, Norwegian Elkhounds, and a variety of other working dog breeds that have upright ears and a tail that curls over the back.
